Eames finished up in Tokyo and then flew to meet Arthur in Paris. They caught up on what happened, Eames scolding Arthur for coming here and trying to confront Ariadne about the matter. And after everything, Eames knew he was in the wrong but at the time he thought she needed to get away from the job. She was already done with her part so where was the harm?

Eames sent Ariadne a quick text: I'm in Paris. I'm sorry.

He looked over everything before answering, "I don't think so, just your oven." Arthur took the bag of salad and put it in her fridge for later.

"Okay," she said and went to sit down on the couch with Eames.

Eames tucked his arm around her, stilling looking through her book.

She nuzzled against him and looked at the book with him.

In the kitchen, Arthur rolled up his shelves and got to work on the pizza. He also bought some pre-made garlic bread that only had to be toasted in the oven.

She eventually fell asleep on Eames' shoulder to the sound of his steady breathing and the domestic sounds from the kitchen. She hadn't been sleeping well.

Eames looked over at her and smiled before kissing the top of her head and closing her book.

She sighed in her sleep and nuzzled into him more.

Once the margherita pizza and the garlic bread were done, Arthur laid out the salad and everything else onto the table. "Food's ready!" He called out.

"Ari," Eames whispered into her ear.

"Mm," she said as her eyes blinked open. "Something smells good."

Eames smiled. "Come on, angel, dinner's done."

She smiled.

"Good. Cause I'm hungry," she said as she got up from the couch and stretched a bit before going to the table. "This looks great Arthur."

"Thanks." Arthur pulled out each of their chairs before going to grab the wine bottle from the fridge.

"Such a gentleman," she said with a smirk, looking at Eames as she sat down and pulled her chair up.

Eames huffed and sat down.

She put her napkin on her lap and started helping herself to salad.

Arthur brought the wine and poured it into each glass before sitting down.

"Thanks for cooking," she said to him.

"You're welcome."

Eames served himself some salad before passing the bowl to Arthur.

She waited until they all had food before starting to eat her salad.

They ate quietly, just enjoying each other's company. The pizza was great as well as everything else.

"That was really good," she said as she finished up. "Best pizza I've had in a while."

"Well thank you." He grinned at her.

"I think it's time for dessert," Eames said as he got up to grab the box from the fridge.

"You're welcome," she said smiling back before watching Eames head to the fridge.

Eames brought the box back and opened it up.
