Eames finished up in Tokyo and then flew to meet Arthur in Paris. They caught up on what happened, Eames scolding Arthur for coming here and trying to confront Ariadne about the matter. And after everything, Eames knew he was in the wrong but at the time he thought she needed to get away from the job. She was already done with her part so where was the harm?

Eames sent Ariadne a quick text: I'm in Paris. I'm sorry.

She pulled hers on.

"There's one around the corner from my place that's good," she said.

"We'll do that one then." He took her hand in his and led them out of the suite.

She took them to the place around the corner from her apartment.

"What looks good to you?" she asked as she perused the glass case of goodies.

"The eclairs," he said as he pointed to them. "Let's get some of the macaroons as well."

"Okay," she said before talking to the shop girl in French and pointing to what they wanted.

He paid for everything and then grabbed the box.

She took his other hand as they walked to her building. She let them in and up to her place.

"Sorry, it's kinda messy," she said.

"No worries." He took a look around before putting the box in her fridge.

She went about picking things up.

"So why the mess?" He asked as he helped her pick up a few things.

She shrugged.

"I wasn't really in the mood to be cleaning I guess," she said.

He nodded thoughtfully.

She moved on to pick up her bedroom.

Eames sat down on her couch.

When she was done in the bedroom and bathroom she came back in and set the table for dinner.

Eames was relaxing on the couch, flipping through one of her architecture books when Arthur walked in.

"Hey babe," she said from where she was at the table.

"Hello," he said, greeting both of them before walking into the kitchen and laying everything out on the counter.

"Anything you need?" she asked.

[isnt_the_same]

He looked over everything before answering, "I don't think so, just your oven." Arthur took the bag of salad and put it in her fridge for later.

"Okay," she said and went to sit down on the couch with Eames.

Eames tucked his arm around her, stilling looking through her book.

She nuzzled against him and looked at the book with him.

[isnt_the_same]

In the kitchen, Arthur rolled up his shelves and got to work on the pizza. He also bought some pre-made garlic bread that only had to be toasted in the oven.

She eventually fell asleep on Eames' shoulder to the sound of his steady breathing and the domestic sounds from the kitchen. She hadn't been sleeping well.
