Eames finished up in Tokyo and then flew to meet Arthur in Paris. They caught up on what happened, Eames scolding Arthur for coming here and trying to confront Ariadne about the matter. And after everything, Eames knew he was in the wrong but at the time he thought she needed to get away from the job. She was already done with her part so where was the harm?

Eames sent Ariadne a quick text: I'm in Paris. I'm sorry.

She leaned in to kiss him again.

Arthur kissed her back. "And you two are welcome to stay at my parents house."

"We'll stay for as long as you like," she said.

"I want you two to stay forever," Arthur murmured. Eames tugged on the end of Arthur's tie.

She smiled. It wasn't often Arthur said stuff like that.

"Then forever it is," she said before pressing a lingering kiss to his cheek. "Although I think your mom might get sick of all of us after a few years."

Eames and Arthur laughed quietly.

She looked at them both fondly, her hand still running through Eames' hair.

Arthur looked down at his watch. "Shall we go grocery shopping then?"

"But I'm so comfortable," she said with a smile.

"You and Eamess can stay here. I'll go pick up some things and when I'm done ill head over to your apartment and tell you," he suggested.

"We can head over when you leave and pick up a bit," she said. "I wasn't really expecting anyone over."

Arthur nodded. "So what's for dinner then?" Eames asked.

"I was thinking pizza."

"Mm, homemade pizza? Sounds good," she said.

"I figured something simple would work best," Arthur said. He kissed her cheek before getting up from the couch and going to the bedroom to get his jacket.

"We'll pick up dessert," she called to him.

"Good idea," he said as he walked back in.

"Any requests?" she asked.

[isnt_the_same]

"Chocolate and strawberries," Eames replied.

"I'm sure we can find something with both of those things in it," she said with a nod.

"Okay well I'm heading out." Arthur leaned down to kiss both of them.

"See you at the apartment," she said.

Arthur headed out.

Eames sat up after a few seconds.

"So...shall we find a bakery?" she asked as she got up from the couch.

"Have one in mind?" Eames went to grab his coat.

She pulled hers on.

"There's one around the corner from my place that's good," she said.
